On Fire For GOD

Romans Ch 12 v 9--21   NIV
9  Love must be sincere. Hate what is wrong ; cling to what is good.
10  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.
      Honour one another above yourselves.
11  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour serving the LORD
11 Amplified Bible
Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavour, be aglow
and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.
Paul is exhorting believers who live in this Spirit to be;-
     aglow...burning....on fire ...for the Lord
12 (NIV)  Be joyful in hope,   faithful in prayer.
13 Share with God's people who are in need, practice hospitality.
14  Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15  Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn
16  Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but
willing to make real friends with the poor.  Do not be conceited.
17  Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest
and proper - aiming to be above reproach in the sight of everyone.
18  If it is possible,   as far as it depends on you,   live at peace  with everyone
19  Do not take revenge, my friends but leave room for God's wrath,
for it is written; "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.
20  On the contrary "If your enemy is hungry feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will be heaping coals on his head"
21   Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Colossians 3:12:15  NIV
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves
with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against
one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues
put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body
you were called to peace.
